The NEET UG 2026 re-exam is officially scheduled for June 21, and that leaves aspirants with exactly 30 days to turn things around. Whether you missed the mark in the first attempt or are looking to boost your score to 600+, this window is genuinely enough — if you use it right.
Start by understanding what went wrong. Most students who underperform in NEET don’t lack knowledge; they lose marks due to poor time management during the exam and careless errors in Biology MCQs. The first week of your 30-day plan should be entirely dedicated to revisiting your previous test paper, identifying your weakest topics, and creating a subject-wise schedule.
For Physics, focus on the chapter-wise weightage. Mechanics and Electrodynamics together account for nearly 40% of the Physics section. Use NCERT thoroughly — every line matters. Solve at least 30 Physics MCQs daily, emphasising numerical problems since these are often where marks are lost.
Chemistry should be split evenly between Organic, Inorganic, and Physical. Inorganic chemistry (especially p-block elements) is high-scoring and largely memory-based — a focused one-week revision can yield 5–7 extra marks. For Organic, practice reaction mechanisms repeatedly.
Biology remains the biggest scoring section in NEET. NCERT Biology (both Class 11 and 12) is virtually the entire syllabus. Do not skip diagrams — labelled diagrams appear as MCQ options. Spend the last 10 days of your prep doing full-length mock tests under strict time conditions.
In the final week, stop studying new topics. Revise your notes, take two full-length mocks per day, and sleep at least 7 hours. The night before the exam, do a light revision of formulae and important diagrams only.
