Stash Tabs
Stash Tabs provide significant extra storage space beyond what can be provided by the player’s basic inventory. Players can purchase new ones from the microtransaction shop (keybound to M in-game), with some featuring specialty types like Gem Stash Tabs that specialize in gem storage; others, like poe currency half Tabs which store non-quest items.
These tabs include Currency Tab, Gem Tab, Essence Tab, Blight Tab and Delve Tab. When a league ends, all gear and currency in its temporary league’s stash will be moved to Standard and placed into removable-only tabs that cannot be filled with items. Affinities
Affinities simplify sorting items within a tab by enabling you to assign certain item types as affinities, making sorting even faster for frequently-used items (such as bows and high-quality gems). Unfortunately, however, they only work in specific tabs; meaning you won’t be able to send maps directly into a Poe currency tab via this method.
Ctrl-clicked tabs that contain specific item types as their affinity will take precedence when being displayed, including both free spaces and Heist, Expedition and Relic Lockers which only allow an affinity setting to be set for them.
Your in-game store allows you to purchase additional tabs at a nominal cost and create folders to organize your stash more effectively, making it easier to locate the appropriate one and avoid jumping back and forth between tabs. Furthermore, public tabs can be indexed by community trade tools, potentially increasing their selling value significantly.
Folders
PoE currency tab folders allow you to easily organize and classify your stash tabs so that items can be quickly found. They allow labelling and colour-coding as well as offering premium price listing features; such as turning alc into full currency instantly!
This new stash tab system first made its debut in the 2.14 patch and was intended to streamline operation steps and save players time while making gaming more engaging.
These tabs can hold 5000 of each path of exile currency item compared to four tabs in the previous system, making this an enormous upgrade over the old limit of four tabs. Furthermore, these public stash tabs integrate seamlessly with community trade tools, while enabling players to set multiple affinities of one tab; mismatched affinity assignments won’t be permitted; additionally when temporary leagues end, their stash tabs become remove-only tabs.
Lockers
