When you study with intention, you save time and stay less stressed. Here are practical habits that help you learn faster without drowning in hours of notes.

1. Use the “active recall” method

Reading your notes over and over feels safe, but your brain doesn’t store much that way. Active recall works far better. Instead of looking at your notes, try to pull the information out of your memory.

• Cover your notes and explain the idea out loud
• Write down everything you know about a topic before checking
