Gau Chikitsa is a holistic animal welfare initiative operated by the Krishangarh Gau Chikitsa Samiti (KGCS) — a compassionate organization dedicated to rescuing, treating, rehabilitating, and protecting cows and other animals in distress. Since its founding in 2015, the Samiti has served thousands of animals with 24×7 emergency response, medical care, shelter, outreach, training, and community education.
The mission of Gau Chikitsa is to ensure no sick or injured animal suffers due to lack of medical treatment, food, shelter, or compassionate care. Their tagline reflects this goal: “Compassion in Action – Healing for All.”
