Armor Shield is a 1-Part no mixing hybrid polyurethane sealer. Can be used on virtually any surface including Pavers, Block, Concrete, Masonry, Wood, Pool Decks and virtually any other surface! It can be used indoors or outdoors and it’s odorless (low VOC) makeup allows for it to dry extremely fast. Can recoat in as little as 30 minutes per coat making 1 day installations easy. Simply brush or roll on the material and let it dry. 3 coat minimum recommend if using as a standalone coating.
This product is also UV stable making for a great sealer on many outdoor applications such as driveways, patios, decks, pavers and many more. It can withstand vehicle traffic and can be used to seal raw concrete in industrial applications. Works best on unsealed surfaces however can be used over water based sealers. If you are unsure of what type of coating you currently have then it is best to remove the coating entirely before proceeding with application.
Full curing process takes no longer than 48 hours even at the lowest of temperatures. For example at 45°F full curing process takes 48 hours however at 90°F it will only take 18 hours making for quick and easy installations. Re-coat time for mutiple layers is when the first coat is dry to touch. 2 Coats recommended.
This product can also be used as a topcoat with our Armor Liquid Membrane Coating. Minimum of 1-2 Coats required.
Sold in Gloss only finish and comes in 9 colors including clear. Available in Pints, Gallons, and 5 Gallon units.
Coverage per gallon is appx. 150-200 SF @ 3 Coats. 450-600 SF a@ 1 Coat. Please note coverages will vary based on substrate porosity.
